Account
A Kingdom can be accessed in 3 ways: as owner, as dual and as sitter. The owner and dual log into the Kingdom through an Aether account. Duals log in through the game server from their own Kingdom.
Aether account
The Aether account can be accessed and managed at accounts.aetherkingdoms.com.
From an Aether account a player can log in to or register for currently active servers, and manage their account details (username, email, password, etc.).
The Aether account username that can be changed freely.
Server account (Kingdom)
Each game server has its own account system in the form of Kingdoms, where a Kingdom is an account on a game server. The account who registered on a server is the owner of that Kingdom.
A Kingdom can be accessed by the account owner, a dual or a sitter.
Dual
Kingdoms benefit from having additional online coverage if the goal is to compete at the highest level. The dual system allows multiple people to play on a single Kingdom without limitations or having to share passwords.
To be eligible to play as a dual, the invited account cannot be owner or dual of another Kingdom on that same server.
Inviting a dual
The owner can invite other people to play the same Kingdom by using the Aether account username.
Accepting a dual invite
On the same page as registration and login, you can see dual invites and accept or reject them. If the invite is accepted the dual can log in and play as normal.

Sitting is a mechanic where a Kingdom can give access to someone in their Empire to look after their account. A sitter is limited in what they can do. A sitter can manage the account to prevent empty queues, resource overflow or starvation, but can't act on the owner's behalf.
