Empire profile

Every empire gets a profile page that anyone on the server can view. The page shows the Empire's statistics, weekly medals earned, members and an optional description.

Empire features

As a member of an empire, you can play together as a team. Members can send each other reinforcements, resources, see shared reports, monitor incoming attacks and much more.

Prestige

Empires compete against other empires for victory. The first empire to reach 250 prestige wins the game. Prestige comes in two forms:

  1. Milestones are earned over time by playing the game as an empire member.
  2. Objectives spawn over time and holding them generates prestige for the empire.

Communication

Empire members get access to a new tab in the Messages interface: Empire messages. Members with the correct permission can make threads and add/remove members from them. Empire message threads can:

  • Have members automatically join or only add limited members manually
  • Allow everyone or only members with specific permissions to post messages

On empire home page there's also a message box where members with permissions can write news posts to keep people up-to-date. The home page also has an overview of all the recent happenings in the empire. Finally, you can see how many days ago a member was last online in the members list, resetting at midnight server time.

Combat

Empire combat dashboard

A large part of empires is supporting each other in combat. The biggest things are:

  1. Taking part in organized attacks
  2. Organizing collective defenses
  3. Sharing information about enemy armies

The Empire combat dashboard is the core part of this experience. Here you'll find various features:

  • Incoming attacks, showing the total number of current incoming attacks and linking to the overview page.
  • Reports, showing all PvP reports from the empire.
  • Management, when you have the right permissions to view troops
  • Objectives, showing a list of objectives owned by the empire

Permissions

Setting up empire permissions

Leaders can give individual members different permissions and some other options:

  • Give a member a named role to show on the empire profile after their kingdom name
  • Make the member a leader, which grants all permissions
  • Make role visible publicly, making it visible on the public profile
  • Allow them to give permissions to others
  • Manage empire news posts and write in locked threads
  • Manage empire threads and members
  • Invite kingdoms to the empire
  • Kick kingdoms from the empire
  • See all empire troops
  • Defensive coordinator: can view troops at objectives, with more to come

Joining an empire

A kingdom can join an empire in 2 ways:

  1. Found an empire
  2. Get invited to an empire and accept the invite

Both the found option and accept invite are on the empire page accessed from the right sidebar.

Inviting kingdoms

A player can invite a kingdom to their empire if they have the right permissions. There are 2 ways to invite a kingdom:

  1. An invite button on the kingdom's profile
  2. Entering the name of the kingdom on the invites section of the members page
