A blast furnace is a towering structure used to smelt iron ore into molten metal. The furnace features a tall chimney to vent gases produced during the smelting process. A bellows provides a continuous blast of air, stoking the fire and raising temperatures inside the furnace to over 1,500 degrees Celsius.
The Blast Furnace will boost Iron yields by 10% per level.
